Prepayment Facility
For those people who are applying online and do not have a credit card, the application processing charge can be prepaid to QTAC. Upon receipt of the payment, QTAC will issue a Prepayment Voucher that lists an Application Number and Activation Number. Using these numbers, an online application can be submitted.
How to Purchase a Prepayment Voucher
You can purchase a Prepayment voucher
-
at QTAC in Milton using cash, EFTPOS, money order, cheque or credit card (Visa, MasterCard only) or
-
by forwarding a Prepayment voucher request form via mail with cheque, money order or credit card details attached. The voucher would then be posted to you.
Types of Prepayment Vouchers
There are two Prepayment V ouchers which relate to the category of applicant
- Twelve-to Tertiary (TTT) vouchers for Current Year 12 students
who should complete a TTT Prepayment Voucher Request Form for 2009 entry - Apply-by-Web (ABW) vouchers for Non-Year 12 applicants
who should complete a ABW Prepayment Voucher Request Form for 2008/2009 entry
Which voucher should I request?
You are a Current Year 12 (TTT) applicant if
- you are completing the International Baccalaureate (IB) in Australia;
- you are completing Year 12 in Queensland (including OP ineligible students) or interstate;
- you are an international student completing Year 12 in Australia this year;
- you are repeating Year 12 in Australia
You are a Non-Year 12 (ABW) applicant if
- you are NOT currently studying an Australian Year 12 qualification
- you are studying an overseas Year 12 qualification, i.e. NCEA in New Zealand.
- you are already enrolled at a tertiary institution and want to apply for a course at another institution
- you are using Alternative Entry qualifications or completing a program such as Senior External Examination or Certificate IV in Adult Tertiary Preparation
Important Information about Prepayment Vouchers
- the Prepayment Voucher is only valid in the admissions period for which it is purchased
- QTAC will not reimburse costs for vouchers that have expired
- TTT prepayment vouchers will not be valid after 28 February 2009 as the Twelve-to-Tertiary online application will not longer be available. All applicants apply via Apply By Web from I March 2009 for 2009 Admissions.
- Prepayment Vouchers are non-refundable
- if a Prepayment Voucher is to be posted to you, please ensure that you allow sufficient time to receive your voucher and lodge your application before the due date for guaranteed inclusion in the subsequent offer round.
